I was amazed to see a Gaspeee sign on Warwick Ave...I had no idea people knew or cared about pre-revolutionary events. It's pretty cool to see that the very first militant act in the fight for freedom is remembered. |

| Comments: | Great Job with Gaspee Days (like always) My aunt (Hazel) would really enjoyed the Gaspee this year! It makes me proud to say that she was a founding member expecially seeing how so many people from all over, really enjoy Gaspee. Keep up the good work! PS - in my opinon I think that you should get rid of the mummers and get more bands instead! Years ago when I was in the childrens costume contest, they would group the children into age groups which was great because the little ones always went up first so they didn't get itchy britches. My son was in the contest this year and he is only 21 months and there was another girl in the contest the same age, they were the last ones to go up and by that point half the costume was coming off. if you had the little ones go first atleast we could undress them into something else.
